Join us again this Friday, 30th October 2015 – 3pm at RAN Lab in Kololo for our Monthly Innovation Garage, guided by the theme; “Catalyzing Engineering solutions”.
We shall be celebrating 5 months of successful Garage sessions we have a lot in stock for you. We shall showcase the first two Prototypes fully designed by RAN Innovators; “The Mechanized Maize Thresher” and a locally designed “Radio Tower” to support; RootiO Community Radio so as to get instant feedback from Garage attendees.
During this forum also we have the privilege to listen and support two New Engineering projects from Makerere University – College of Engineering (CEDAT). Remember we have a vibrant partnership with Innovation Consortium who have given us access to an Engineering Workshop where Innovators can access state of the art machinery to sort out all welding and Prototyping needs.
The Innovation Garage is a great platform to support home grown engineering solutions and through these monthly sessions we hope to support local solutions that will transcend nations. We wish to launch paradigm shifting Innovations that will change the way we conduct business. We would like to see technologies developed in Africa being launched on the global market.
