The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) warmly invites you to the Humanitarian Innovation Event for East Africa organized in collaboration with Makerere University, School of Public Health – ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) & College of Computing and Information Sciences (CoCIS). The event will take place on Friday 19 June, at Makerere University Main Hall.

The event will bring together humanitarian stakeholders, Experts, Scholars, Researchers and Innovators to discuss how innovations can improve the delivery of humanitarian services for people affected by armed conflicts in relation to;
1. Access to health care for victims of armed conflict, (M-Health Innovations)
2. Access to safe water for victims of armed conflict, (Safe and Clean Water)
3. Prevention of Sexual Violence for victims of armed conflict / care for the victims,
4. Re-establishment of family links for victims of armed conflict.
There will be Innovation Exhibition there after which will showcase carefully selected innovative products and processes in the making with a high potential to address humanitarian issues in relation to access to Safe Water, Health and Re-establishment of Family Links and enable guests to connect with the innovators.
