Part of the RAN team participated in the Pathways to Resilience IV Conference http://www.resilienceresearch.org/ptr in Cape Town, South Africa on June 14-16, 2017. This was yet another opportunity for RAN to present 12 abstracts, host the Deliberative Polling (DP) symposium sharing about DP exercises in Uganda, Ghana, Senegal and Malawi under the moderation of Prof. Jim Fishkin, Professor of Communication Political Science at Stanford University https://comm.stanford.edu/faculty-fishkin/. The team also shared survey results from across RAN’s 4 Resilience Innovation Labs (RILabs) feeding into the resilience work trans versing Africa. More than 600 participants from over 50 countries attended this conference aiding key engagements to strengthen resilience efforts globally.
