The COVID-19 pandemic caused extensive disruptions and interruptions in many sectors of economies worldwide, including the education sector. These challenges subsequently catalyzed the evolution of education systems and approaches to learning, such as e-learning which Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) had adapted so as to ensure continuity of learning throughout the pandemic period. In this Webinar session, we shall share the core lessons from leading HEIs in sub-Saharan Africa relating to the implementation, adaptation, scale-up and sustainability of e-learning efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
