It was a very engaging session at the Mbale Resort Hotel in Uganda as Makerere University School of Public Health ResilientAfrica Network (RAN) team disseminated results from the very first Deliberative Polling (DP) in Africa. DP was conducted in the communities of Bududa and Butalejja to garner community voices to inform development of solutions through innovation to address community challenges. These challenges manifest in form of disasters (shocks and stresses) including floods and landslides among others.
