The RAN Team took off time to visit one of RAN Eastern Africa Resilience Innovation Lab’s network plus partner, Gulu University. The aim of the visit was to among others brainstorm and develop a theory of change (hypothesis) for the RootIO project in consultation with targeted communities. The community was requested to provide insights relevant for the further development, scaling and rolling out of this project in relation to the thematic area of focus in the Northern Region of Uganda. The guiding question was; “What resilience question must RootIO answer?”- information dissemination using a Radio Station in a bucket. During the same visit, the RAN team also engaged with Gulu University Vice Chancellor, Management, faculty, students and partners to explore potential areas for collaboration. RootIO is one of the projects funded under RAN’s Resilience Innovation Acceleration Program (RIAP) with the support from USAID.
